AI-driven chatbots or reporting systems can provide a confidential and safe way for pupils to report concerns about bullying, harassment, or other safety issues. These reports can be analysed for trends and patterns.
School funding often prevents investment in much needed counselling and ELSAs. Emotional support chatbots can provide appropriate support and resources to pupils who may be struggling with mental health issues. They can offer guidance and connect pupils to appropriate support services.
Each year school staff must undergo safeguarding training. AI can assist in providing training and resources for staff to recognise signs of abuse, bullying, or mental health issues. It can also help schools stay updated on best practices for safeguarding. Research shows that staff prefer interactive training that can identify the best pace for them, rather than a one-size fits all model so prevalent at the moment.
