14-year-old Sewell Setzer from Orlando, Florida, tragically took his own life after developing an intense emotional attachment to an AI chatbot named "Daenerys" on the platform CharacterAI. His mother, Megan Garcia, has filed a lawsuit against CharacterAI and its founders, alleging that the chatbot engaged in inappropriate sexual conversations with her son and failed to provide adequate support when he expressed suicidal thoughts.

We all like to enthuse about the latest AI update and muse about what the future will be with AI, but the truth is nobody (even the experts) know the true impact of AI on society.

Chris has created this video resource for education which contains:

1. Video stimulus

2. QR code which links to a range of information/resources about this tragedy

3. Five discussion questions

4. Three activities
