Headteacher, Cornerstone Church of England Primary School

Cornerstone Church of England Primary School created an AI Agent, using CoPilot Studio to allow all internal school staff to ask questions about the full range of school policies stored within the school Staff Shared Team / SharePoint.

It was important to keep in mind when designing the AI Agent that responses would be accurately personalised to the specific school policies and provided the names of the policies for reference.

This Case Study takes you through the steps taken to create the Agent, that are replicable in other institutions with CoPilot Studio enabled.

Throughout the process the Agent was tested with a few specific questions linked to different policies.

The responses were rapid, accurate, and gave the policies it had referenced to find the information.

The Agent was shared with a small group of staff in the first instance to road-test before sharing with all staff.

The scenario in this case study is genuine and based upon real events and data, however its narration has been crafted by AI to uphold a standardised and clear format for readers.

Key Learning

The school was able to add it as an App within their Microsoft Team.

As well as being able to pin the App to my ‘My Space’ in Teams, it shows as one of your chats.

Risks

When sharing access to the Agent with all staff at Cornerstone, the system identified this as a risk, which Tim was able to review before deployment.
